The WIC Program is a Nutrition and Breastfeeding program. It helps eligible pregnant women, new mothers, babies and young children eat well, learn about nutrition, and stay healthy. WIC also provides nutrition education and counseling, nutritious foods, and referrals to health and other social services.
SNAP helps Minnesotans with low incomes get the food they need for nutritious and well-balanced meals. The program provides support to help stretch your household food budget. It is not intended to meet all of your household’s food needs. It is a supplement.
