Work of Art: Reno Phil

To commemorate its 50th anniversary season, the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra commissioned a new piece of music from up-and-coming composer Zhou Tian. THE WORK OF ART: RENO PHIL chronicles the 18-month journey of the original musical composition from concept to orchestral debut. The hour-long documentary follows Zhou as he conducts research on U.S. railroad history, completes his residency with the Reno Phil, and strives to finish the final piece on deadline.
