“The Boys of Bataan” is a powerful documentary that delves into the experiences of the young men from Brainerd, Minnesota, who served in the 194th Tank Battalion, Company A during World War II. Narrated by John Erickson, the Archivist and Curator for Brainerd Public Schools, this film begins with a look at the original high school where these brave soldiers once studied and dreamed of their futures. Through the lens of Erickson’s storytelling, we are introduced to several of these soldiers, each with a unique story that brings to life the timeline of events in the Philippines.
