Rainy Lake Voyageurs

The science, history, culture and characters who make up the huge body of water on Minnesota’s northern border. We see a bevy of bald eagles, conservationist Ernest Oberholtzer’s private island that’s now a retreat for intellectuals, the oldest restored boat on the lake along with its connection to one of Rainy Lake’s 1600 islands, and some of the oldest visible rock formations on the planet in our state’s only national park.
