My Last Breath

Josh LaRue was born in Brainerd Minnesota in 1974. He grew up on a small lake near the town of Garrison. Like most kids, he was active, adventurous, and loved the outdoors. He also grew up with asthma, which in his teen years became increasingly worse. The winter seasons seem to heighten Josh’s asthma with the number of trips to the ER increasing as winters passed. On a cold January morning in 1992, Josh took his last breath of life as he knew it. This film will bring to the forefront the seriousness of the “invisible disease” we call asthma. And will show one man’s journey through life overcoming the greatest of obstacles with perseverance and positivity.
