Mike Welton's paintings capture the architecture of urban areas throughout the Midwest

As a high school student, Mike Welton took the same painting classes multiple times just so he could keep putting his brush to the canvas. When a career in graphic design left him unfulfilled, Welton returned to his love of painting and transitioned into full-time work as an artist. Welton uses his paintings to show a slice of urban areas throughout the Midwest and views them as a sort of architectural preservation.
