Mister Rogers summered in a tiny, gray shake-shingle house on the edge of Nantucket island. My mother rented the cottage next door. So Mister Rogers really was my neighbor. My brief but inspiring conversation with the television icon on the afternoon of my thirtieth birthday changed my life. This is a documentary about Mister Rogers and me.
