Recreate the magic of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood of Make-Believe with Be My Neighbor Day! The annual celebration of “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood” will return with hands-on activities spread throughout the Twin Cities PBS (TPT) Lowertown Studios in Downtown St. Paul. It will be a “tigertastic” time, and you do not want to miss out!

Move through the event and participate in activities, open play, and of course: a meet & greet with Daniel Tiger!

Enjoy a Variety of Activities!

• Meet Daniel Tiger from the popular PBS Kids series “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood”
• Make a hand warmer to share with your own Mr. McFeely and celebrate one of our favorite neighbors, postal workers
• Create a mask or puppet of your favorite character from “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood”
• Add your own link to our ongoing Be My Neighbor Day community chain
• Explore the Metro Transit Education Bus
• Participate in activities from community partners
• Enjoy snacks and beverages
• Visit the Neighborhood of Make-Believe with interactive sets
• A quiet room, presented by Fraser, will be available at the event
• Get the wiggles out with dance classes led by KidsDance and Celtic Junction Arts Center
• And much more!

Each timeslot allows 55 minutes on the main activity floor and unlimited time in our Street Space with our movement and snack sponsors.

Parking: Unfortunately, there is no free parking in Lowertown. All ramps, lots, and street parking are paid. The nearest parking lot is the Lowertown Ramp (connected to the TPT building). It is accessible from Jackson Street and Sibley Street. Take the elevator to Level K to check-in at our registration area.

• All attendees must register for a specific time to attend this event.
• Each timeslot allows 55 minutes on the main activity floor and unlimited time in our Street Space with our movement and snack sponsors.
• Please register kids and adults separately.
• Please let families that need sensory friendly support sign up for that time slot (2:00 pm on Saturday). The sensory friendly time slot will include a lower level of music and lights along with a low-pressure Daniel Tiger meet & greet.
• There are a maximum of six tickets per registration.
• We request that, if possible, strollers are left in the car.
• Space is limited for this event, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
