Bemidji author, Will Weaver, recounts how experiences with the dirt racing team he formed went on to find expression in a trilogy of motor novels and how he achieved recognition with two Minnesota Book Awards, a short story that was adapted to become the 2006 independent feature film "Sweet Land," and a 1986 novel that became a CBS Television movie.
