Becoming Albertan

Becoming Albertan is a travel show about the exhilarating experiences you can try while exploring Alberta, Canada. The half hour travel show takes us caving in Canmore’s Rat’s Nest Cave. We see what its like to raft down the Athabasca River, a designated Canadian Heritage River. We walk on a glacier in the Columbia Icefields and feed our adrenaline in the new cliff-edge Glacier Skywalk in Jasper National Park. For those who want to try mountain climbing we explore the new Mount Norquay Via Ferrata in Banff National Park where steel cable is run and fixed to the mountain. The travel show, Becoming Albertan, also explores Edmonton’s Heritage Park Historical Village and introduces us to Canada’s iconic bison at the North Shore Homestead and sport fishing in Lesser Slave Lake. The final scene takes us to the HEAD-SMASHED-IN BUFFALO JUMP World Heritage Site where we meet Canada’s First Nations and learn about their history and connection to the land.
