Community Guidelines
Twin Cities PBS (TPT) is committed to enriching lives and strengthening our community through programs, events, and collaborative engagement. We strive to create welcoming and inclusive environments that foster learning and curiosity. We also encourage and welcome respectful and engaged dialogue where community members participate in meaningful discussions about our organization, programming, and content.
To uphold and advance these goals, we have created community guidelines for all communication, including in-person, email, and on social media and in other digital spaces. We ask that members of our community treat our staff and one another with respect.
Individuals whose communication fall outside of our community guidelines will be reminded of the guidelines. Repeat violations may result in individuals being asked to leave TPT property or to no longer contact TPT staff. Our team reserves the right to refuse response to communication that violates these community guidelines.
On our public platforms, such as websites and social media, our team reserves the right to hide or delete any comments that fall outside our community guidelines without notice. Repeated violations will result in being blocked from our pages and may be reported to social media platforms. We may also work with law enforcement, including when we believe that there’s risk of physical harm or threat to public safety.
Violations to community guidelines include:
