This is the return of the pledge special "Hindsight is 20-20," (first released by PBS-SIP in 2004). Available only in pledge format, editing to make the program continuous is allowed. Red Green first appeared on television in 1979 as a two-minute guest appearance on a variety program. Based on the audience reaction of confusion mixed with disbelief, Red made several similar appearances over the next 11 years until finally his lack of acceptance by the mainstream television audience led to him getting his own series. His ability to derive success out of failure became an inspiration to many of his fans and future Wall Street executives. Now it's time to look back over his career path and try to identify how it all went so horribly wrong. Done in the traditional biography style the Hindsight Is 20-20 features intimate interviews done by an unheard and unseen interviewer. Intercut with photos and video clips from the 25-year history, the interviews will primarily be done by Red and Harold, with supporting interviews from supporting characters. Of particular interest to Red Green fans will be the interviews with characters like Buzz Sherwood, Dougie Franklin, Glenn Brackston, Kevin Black, and Bob Stuyvesant - all characters who have been off the series for several years and presented with clips from their most memorable performances.
