How to Manage Finances and Real Estate

1. If you can get by with a smaller house and about 8 servants, by all means do that.

2. Have you considered not serving Lobster Rissoles in Mousseline Sauce? That can save thousands of dollars at the Seafood Shoppe.

3. If you are going to invest in anything, by all means DO NOT put all of your money into one mutual fund or stock, especially if it is called North American Railroad. (The only time that makes any money is in the game of Monopoly, and only if it is the B&O Railroad property, which everyone seems to land on for some odd reason.)

4. It helps to have a lucky distant cousin who is prone to large inheritances.

5. When putting a large country estate on the market it’s best to leave out personal details such as: “Mr. Pamuk/So-and-so slept (and died) here.”
