Wayne Ducheneaux Joins TPT Board of Trustees

TPT announces Wayne Ducheneaux as its newest member of its Board of Trustees

SAINT PAUL, MINN. (December 11, 2020) – Twin Cities PBS announces Wayne Ducheneaux as the company’s newest Board of Trustees member. Ducheneaux is the Executive Director of Native Governance Center in St. Paul where he leads the organization’s initiatives to provide tribal governance support, leadership development and community engagement.

“I am truly humbled and honored to join the TPT Board of Trustees. As a fan personally and a partner of the organization professionally, it is truly an honor to be able to give back to an organization that does such important work,” said Wayne Ducheneaux.

“We are deeply honored that Wayne has agreed to join our Board of Trustees, which is made up of dedicated leaders from various sectors of our community,” said Scott Dillon, Chair of the TPT Board of Trustees. “Our organization is fortunate to have the ability to tap Wayne’s expertise and leadership skills as we continue to engage with our communities in furtherance of TPT’s mission.”

Ducheneaux is a Cohort 3 Native Nation Rebuilder and an enrolled citizen of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. His work with his tribe includes running the Cheyenne River Motel (a Tribal enterprise), serving two years as Tribal Administrative Officer, and serving as District 4 Council Representative. He was also selected as Vice-Chairman of the Tribe for a two-year term from 2012-2014. Ducheneaux joined the Native Governance Center in January 2016 as its Executive Director.
