Brian Hart uses a camera as a piece of paper and light as a pen. He tried writing his name with his phone and had a “light bulb moment” where he realized he could use his camera not only to take photos, but to draw. Write about a time when you explored a new way of doing something and what you discovered when you did it.

Activity
Try creating a piece of traditional art like a painting drawing with a non-traditional tool from around the house or from nature. If you’d like, you can make a “draft” of your art with a pen or pencil. Then, experimenting with your new tool or set of tools, you can either build on your “draft” artwork, or create a work from scratch.
