Sensory-Friendly Second Saturdays at TPT

Saturday, February 9

Location:
Twin Cities PBS - Street Space
172 E Fourth Street
Saint Paul, MN 55101

This month, we’re celebrating Black History at Second Saturdays with Princess Presto! Get ready to learn all about some of America’s most influential Black inventors, artists, and scientists. Take a trip to the stars building constellation viewers with SciGirls (in honor of astronaut Mae Jemison), build a trumpet with Louis Armstrong, and much more!

Our charity partner this month is Books for Africa. Please consider bringing a gently used book for our book drive.

What to expect:

  • Lower volumes, lighting, and crowds
  • A variety of adaptable activities

Some things to note:

  • Please register kids and adults separately.
  • Kids of all ages are welcome, and we encourage siblings to attend, too!
  • Capacity for this event is limited to make your experience more comfortable.
  • Wheelchair accessible
  • Parking: The Lowertown Ramp (Connected to TPT) is accessible from Jackson Street, and Sibley Street. Take the elevator up to level P5 to enter the studio.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this sensory-friendly event, please reach out to us at [email protected].

We hope to see you there!

TPT is member supported! Feel free to show your support by including a donation to TPT with your RSVP. Donations are entirely optional. Thank you!
