ART IS… My Origin is a sneak peek into the most sacred of creative spaces – home. This segment will explore those living room, basement, bedroom practices of freedom that led to the discovery of voice. It will look at blackness across difference and art, specifically music and poetry, as an inter-generational connector and catalyst for liberation.

Minnesota is a haven for artists – some of them well-known, others we still need to meet. That’s why TPT launched ART IS…, a multi-media and events series aimed at bringing visibility to emerging and established artists in new ways. Watch their stories here, get inspired to make something yourself and snag some tickets to these live events.
