An interfaith dialogue about the controversial Israeli-Palestinian situation in an attempt to encourage mutual understanding and peace making. Included in the dialogue are: -Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, archbishop emeritus of Washington, D.C., and a member of the 49-member Catholic-Muslim Forum, which met at the Vatican in November 2008 to discuss their faiths' understanding of the obligation to love God and to love one's neighbor. -Rabbi Paul Menitoff, retired executive vice president of the New York City-based Central Conference of American Rabbis. -Dr. Sayyid Muhammad Syeed, national director of the Office of Interfaith and Community Outreach at the Islamic Society of North America in Washington, D.C. -Charles Lutz, Minnesota coordinator of Churches for Middle East Peace and co-author of "Christians and a Land Called Holy: How We Can Foster Justice, Peace, and Hope" (Fortress Press, 2006). -Makram El-Amin, imam of Masjid An-Nur, a mosque in North Minneapolis. He was a delegate to an interfaith conference at the Vatican with Pope John Paul II in 1999. -Rabbi Marcia Zimmerman, a senior rabbi of Temple Israel since 2001. She has journeyed to the Holy Land with an interfaith clergy group and is a past chairperson of the Downtown Clergy Association. -And Moderator John Carr, a 1972 St. Thomas alumnus who is executive director of the Department of Justice, Peace and Human Development for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. Co-produced with the University of St. Thomas.
