<title>MNTV | Endless Day by Jan Estep</title>
<itunes:author>Twin Cities Public Television</itunes:author>
<link>http://www.tpt.org/mntv</link>
<description>Endless Day was filmed above the Arctic Circle on the Lofoten Islands off the west coast of Norway. It captures a natural phenomenon called the Midnight Sun. During the summer months at this latitude the sun never fully sets, only skimming the horizon line. This &quot;endless day&quot; was filmed in real time then time-lapsed in editing. The never-ending day with its never-setting sun creates a visual metaphor for the recurring conversation between the optimist and the skeptic in Estep&apos;s 2005 video Ad Infinitum, the debate about meaning that never ends.</description>
