On February 17, 2009, broadcasters are required by federal law to stop transmitting analog television signals. After this date, your analog television will not work, it will go dark, unless you do one of the following:

Connect a converter box to be able to receive the new digital signal.

Or:

Connect your analog television to a subscription cable or satellite service to get the new digital signal.
