TPT Announces New Live Tapings of 'The Lowertown Line'

July 20, 2016

We’re back with a new season of live-tapings of the critically acclaimed music series, The Lowertown Line at TPT!

The artists this season represent some of the best in Minnesota in regards to diversity of styles and influence. We have everything from Americana roots rock (Dead Man Winter) to hip-hop (P.O.S) to Punk (Babes in Toyland) to Afro Billy (Siama Matuzungidi), and we’ve added a family-friendly show with popular folk act The Roe Family Singers.

The 2016 lineup of The Lowertown Line episodes will feature eight local bands:

The Lowertown Line is an Emmy®-award winning local music TV show recorded in front of a live audience at the TPT Street Space in Lowertown St. Paul. After a significant remodel in 2015, TPT opened their street level space as a gathering and event space in the community that is fast becoming a notable Lowertown venue hosting The Lowertown Line and much more.

In addition to a new line-up of live shows, The Lowertown Line Season Three (featuring artists like Polica, The Cactus Blossoms, Sonny Knight and the Lakers and more) will broadcast on TPT in September. And, the show will continue to release full episodes of Season Four online and via social media prior to their television broadcast.

Tickets for all announced shows are available now at lowertownline.org/attend.
