From Rewire — public media with a twist.
Have you seen a tree today?
Danced in a meadow recently?
How many bears have you chased this month?
Did you ever figure out the GPS on your phone when you got lost while hiking?
You can do all of these things (not all are suggested) in a National Park near you. In case you’ve been stuck in Death Valley with no mobile data, we’d like to remind you that the mammoth NATIONAL PARKS series by Ken Burns and Dayton Duncan returns to PBS the week of April 25.
While we wanted to remind you of this inspiring and necessary work, we also wanted to remind that there has been some incredible work done by many public tv stations around the country. We want this post to highlight their work as well. Zone out, enjoy the show, and don’t forget to support your local PBS team if you like what you see — or better yet, if it inspires you to go outside!
