Midway was made from home video footage taken at the Midway area of the Minnesota State Fair.  The sights and sounds were then cut-up and remixed into a rhythmic collage.  The edit transforms our perception and understanding of everyday experiences.

Carl Bentson has a great bike and a great attitude about life. His favorite word is “Yeah.” He works tirelessly to clean up the world. The co-director Media Mike says, “This is a community lesson for the whole world.” This documentary will make you feel great. Yeah.

Independence Parade was made from home video footage of a small town parade and fair during the 4th of July holiday and then cut-up and remixed into a rhythmic collage of synesthesia.  By changing our perspective of the familiar, the sights and sounds become open for new appreciation and understanding.
