During the fall of 2006 Carrie Volk will graduate from the Video Arts program at Minneapolis Community & Technical College. Carrie's career focus is directing and cinematography. Currently she is taking a break from classes to gain experience by co-directing and shooting a short documentary, "Redefine," which has received an access grant through IFP Minnesota.

Awakening
co-directed by Joel Weber and Dominic Howes

Joel Weber - Co-Director/Cinematographer
Joel's film work has taken him around the world. Awakening recently won the audience award for best documentary- short program at the Santa Cruz International Film Festival. Joel holds a B.A. in Film Studies from the University of Minnesota and an M.A in international Business from St. Mary's University.

Dominic Howes - Co-Director
Dominic travels extensively filming throughout the world. He is also an experienced, classically trained percussionist on the North Indian Tabla drums. His debut documentary film, Awakening, won the audience award for best documentary- short program at the Santa Cruz International Film Festival and is part of numerous other festivals.

The Mexican Cloud Swing Disaster

Tom has been making animated films since 1990. He has received Minnesota State Arts Board Grants in 1991, 1999 and 2006, Jerome Film and Video Grants in 2000 and 2004, a Bush Fellowship in 1997 and a McKnight Fellowship in 2006. Tom teaches animation at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. He is represented for commercial work by Ka-Chew!, for whom he animated three Kashi GoLean Crunch commercials currently in national broadcast. His films have played widely on the international film festival circuit and have won numerous awards.

Endless Day
by Jan Estep
Jan Estep filmed and edited Endless Day. She is an artist and writer who lives in Minneapolis, where she is assistant professor in the Department of Art at the University of Minnesota. Estep studied biology as an undergraduate, and later received a PhD in Philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis (1993) and an MFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago (1997). Estep is a conceptual artist working in video, sculpture, drawing, and text-based forms.
