    Painter Caitlin Karolczak is inspired by vintage medical photos and deathbed portraits. Mike Breidenbach's piping career started as an undergraduate at Macalester College where he is now the Director of Piping. Fiber artist Erica Spitzer Rasmussen creates wearable art and sculptures using tomatoes, matchsticks and human hair. Ceramicist Marko Fields employs relief printmaking techniques in his pottery. Over the years, gypsy brass band The Brass Messengers have added Dixie and Latin styles to their repertoire.

    Terry Gydesen's images tell personal stories of some of Minnesota's most prominent political figures and celebrities. Accordionista, chanteuse, and theater artist Simone Perrin performs aboard a gondola on the St. Croix River. Christopher Poor and his craftsmen at Arms and Armor handcraft historic replicas for museum, theater and private collections around the world. And folk singer-songwriter Mason Jennings performs in the Hollywood Theater in Northeast Minneapolis.

    Known for her portrait work, photographer Katherine Turczan turns her attention toward landscapes with her project, "Line." Internationally known designer Tim Harding makes large-scale textiles out of colorful Chinese silks and other vibrant materials. Public artist Emily Stover's "General Delivery" is an interactive installation that encourages viewers to think about mail in a new way. A chart-topping soul singer/songwriter in the U.K., musician and theater artist Timotha Lanae still calls Minnesota home.

Chuck Olsen and Taylor Carik created Futurekave--an interactive video-game-art-piece hybrid that bridges virtual and physical space.

    Actor Tyler Michaels, known for his physical, scene-stealing roles, has graced many Twin Cities stages. Rooted in the traditions of basket making, Mary Giles' work has evolved into sculptural pieces inspired by nature. William Souder is a renowned writer whose biography of John James Audubon was a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize. Neo-soul singer/songwriter Mayyadda performs her original song, Black is Beautiful, at Patrick's Cabaret in Minneapolis.

Greta Claire is an abstract painter obsessed with color and texture and the constant need to create. Cartoonist Tom Richmond is a regular contributor to MAD Magazine and recipient of the Reuben Award for Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year. Pianist Zhen Tu performs Etude No. 3 Un sospiro, arranged by Franz Liszt, in the Ordway's Concert Hall.
