Dobby Gibson + Graywolf Press

Poet Dobby Gibson releases It Becomes You with Graywolf Press, one of the nation's leading nonprofit publishers.

An author’s relationship with a publishing house starts long before a book is created. While poet Dobby Gibson was developing his voice, he was influenced by poets and authors published by local independent publishing dynamo Graywolf Press. Founded in 1974, Graywolf Press is one of the nation’s leading nonprofit literary publishers with authors, translators and editors receiving worldwide recognition, including a Nobel Prize for literature and a Pulitzer Prize for poetry. So when Gibson was looking to publish his own book, he turned to the company which had inspired him along the way. Working closely with editor Jeffrey Shotts, Gibson recently released It Becomes You, his third book of poetry and second title with Graywolf Press.
