Self-taught jeweler Gallen Benson has earned an international reputation with his intricate cloisonn work.

Gallen Benson has been making original fine jewelry for 40 years. Using techniques learned as a fine art sculpture student as a foundation, Benson taught himself the intricate art of cloisonné, as well as enamel work and precious metal casting. Benson is recognized internationally for his cloisonné work, and has pieces in several permanent collections across the country including the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.
