What is Life (Part 2)?

Cutting Edge Television for an Emerging Audience

Most television programming is aimed at the 18- to 49-year-old crowd. What about the 77 million baby boomers who are re-inventing the meaning of aging in America?

Life (Part 2) brings smart, illuminating television to this vital audience. A series of dynamic 30-minute programs, Life (Part 2) brings together divergent voices of those 55 and older. Hosted by actor Alan Rosenberg (The Guardian, L.A. Law, and E.R.), Life (Part 2) explores how this visionary demographic views everything from family to public policy, sex to personal finances, and more. Joining Alan are regular contributors, plus guest experts and celebrities both in the studio and on satellite remote. Topics will range from: "Are you ever too old to fall in love?" to "Who ages more gracefully—men or women?" The conversations are candid and incisive, and are poised to spark a national dialogue about re-imagining the later decades of our lives.

Life (Part 2)) also reaches beyond the studio with field pieces that encourage viewers to think, disagree, or just laugh. We will visit people around the country, presenting thoughtful and illuminating takes on this new phase of life, exploring aging from emotional, financial, and physical perspectives.

Like its audience, Life (Part 2) is intelligent, funny, diverse, emotional, and, above all, surprising.
