Join us as a tpt Program Club Volunteer Discussion Facilitator or Program Club Coordinator
Twin Cities Public Television Program Clubs are like a book club; only participants watch a tpt program and then enjoy a lively, interesting discussion with others about the program.
There are currently six off-site Program Club locations at senior residences in the Twin Cities area. These Program Club meetings have been so well received that tpt would like to expand to additional off-site locations.
In order to help make this happen, we’re searching for one program club volunteer coordinator and two program club discussion facilitators to work with our current program club volunteer director.
Thank You!
Job Description: The tpt Program Club Volunteer Coordinator will work with the tpt Program Club Volunteer Director to expand the tpt Program Club to additional off-site locations during 2013. The Coordinator will also work with the Program Club Volunteer Director to distribute DVDs of tpt programs to discussion facilitators, create and send flyers meetings, coordinate a once-a-year tpt guest speaker, and send prize drawing slips, prize drawing items and other tpt information.
Approximate number of hours per week: 4
Job Description: The tpt Program Club Volunteer Facilitator will travel each month to two off-site Program Club locations to lead discussions about a tpt program that the group will watch together and then discuss. In addition to facilitating the discussion, the facilitator will watch the program prior to each month’s meeting, prepare discussion questions, distribute prize drawing slips, wrap prize drawing items and host a prize drawing. There is already a library of DVDs available to use and questions are already prepared for some of these programs.
Approximate number of hours per month: 8
