TELEVISION IS A LIFELINE FOR MANY PEOPLE. A source of important health and safety information, such as severe weather alerts. A source of companionship for the homebound. A source of education for new immigrants. That is why Twin Cities Public Television is partnering with other non-profit and public service agencies to encourage everyone in our community to help those who may have difficulty dealing with the upcoming digital TV conversion.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT PRESERVING AN AUDIENCE FOR TELEVISION STATIONS – it is about preserving a vital source of information (and comfort) to thousands of people in our community.
