Pawlenty in Denver
Gov. Tim Pawlenty led the RNC's press conference pre-buttal to Obama's big speech in the Mile High stadium in Denver. The effort is called "Not Ready 08: A Mile High, An Inch Deep." Pawlenty said the question is "Sen. Obama what have you done and what have you run?"
Of course the question for Pawlenty is if he will be picked tomorrow as Sen. McCain's running mate. He said he is still scheduled to be in Minnesota tomorrow. He didn't give us much other than when asked about his experience Pawlenty did note he has personally led the National Guard, led the House Majority in Minnesota, and led the state as governor. In his remarks Pawlenty noted Obama has been called a "rock star" and a "gifted orator" I had to remind Pawlenty that his opponents have called him the very same thing.
