Almanac: At the Capitol

Outside St. Paul's Landmark Center the cops outnumber the people. There are no protesters or supporters to be seen. No signs, no chanting, positive or negative. It's oddly quiet for a presidential candidate's visit. There are several dozen officers from the city and county, but they don't have much to do. Maybe the fact that this isn't a public event kept the public away. The media and the people attending the event don't have much to see as they enter, other than lots and lots of cops milling around. Let's hope it gets more exciting. I am enjoying the Journey tunes inside though. :)
