MN Original: A Grittier Look for The Guthrie's A Christmas Carol
The Guthrie Theater's annual production of A Christmas Carol is looking a little different these days. The organization is in the midst of a 3-year-long process of redesigning the classic stage production, to give the costumes and set a grittier feel, more true to life in London at the time. Matthew LeFebvre is an accomplished costume and set designer and shares his process for bringing the new costumes to life.
