"Return of the Red Lake Walleye" chronicles the extraordinary efforts of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa, working together with the State of Minnesota and the federal government, to bring back its culturally vital walleye fish to Red Lake in northern Minnesota. The documentary examines the intergovernmental partnership that fueled the recovery effort, and the importance of the walleye's return to the Red Lake community.
