Genocide Again: Darfur

Below is a list of broadcasts scheduled to air in the next 60 days on any of our three channels.

Airs Monday May 12th
The genocide in Darfur is internationally recognized as a genocide, the first ever to be identified as it is happening - yet it continues. Witnesses to the horrors there speak to the origins and grim realities of the conflicts, and describe actions that both individuals and agencies can take in response. Footage from the refugee camps brings the long-term impact on survivors into clear focus.  Mark Hanis is the grandson of Holocaust surviveors, and the director of the Genocide Intervention Network.  A compelling speaker and educator, Mr. Hanis works on the ground in Darfur and in Washington with legislators, and he joins other eyewitnesses as they speak about their personal experiences.
