A new approach to transforming energy is expanding the boundaries of what humans can accomplish and providing creative applications in diverse fields from construction to transportation to robots to artificial limbs. Researchers and students describe the excitement of exploring new ideas at the boundaries of technology. Hydraulics and pneumatics, liquids and gases, have the capacity to provide enormous amounts of energy when under pressure, in forms that can be directed to create amazing new solutions to problems big and small. This program is co-produced with the University of Minnesota's Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power and tpt's Minnesota Channel.
