This Christmas season, the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota -- an institution known for its inspired musical programming -- once again shares its annual holiday concert with public television audiences. A ST. THOMAS CHRISTMAS 2010 features seven of the university's internationally renowned vocal and instrumental ensembles performing a festive collection of seasonal favorites. The ensembles include: The University's Chamber Singers, Concert Choir, Liturgical Choir, Women's Choir, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Brass Choir and the Hand Bell Choir. This one-hour special celebrates the Advent and Christmas season by drawing on both well-loved traditional carols and innovative contemporary selections.
